Privacy Policy
This is a student assignment clone of the OLX Pakistan layout. These terms are original classroom wording covering the same topics as a classifieds site. They are not OLX’s official legal documents.
This policy explains what we collect in this classroom clone and why.
Information we collect
- Account details you type: name, phone, email, password (stored in your browser for this demo).
- Listing details: title, price, location, photos, description.
- Usage data: search terms, saved ads, cookie consent, and pages visited on this site.
How we use it
To show ads near a location you choose, to keep you logged in, to send transactional notices (ad live, ad expired) that you cannot opt out of if the real product required them, and to measure which banners are viewed.
Public information
When you post an ad, other users may see your first name, city, and, if you reveal it, your phone number. Anything you share in chat can be copied by the other person.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. A live product may share non-identifiable analytics with advertising partners as described in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You may ask to access or delete demo data by clearing your browser storage or contacting the address on the Contact page.
